Frequently Asked Questions

  • Somatic bodywork works with the connection between your mind and body to release stored tension, trauma, and emotional patterns.

Unlike traditional massage which focuses on muscles, somatic bodywork addresses the nervous system — helping your body let go of protective patterns it no longer needs.

Sessions involve responsive touch, breathwork, and body awareness practices tailored to what your system needs in the moment.

  • Kundalini activation is a process that works with dormant life force energy in your body.

You lie down while I facilitate an energetic transmission through light touch and focused intention. Your body responds in its own way — through spontaneous movement, emotional release, deep stillness, or waves of energy. It's a surrender-based practice, meaning you don't need to do anything except allow. Every experience is unique.

  • The Signature is my integrated session combining somatic bodywork, breathwork, and kundalini activation into a single experience.

The bodywork moves and softens where energy is held. The breathwork supports nervous system regulation. The kundalini activation moves what's ready to be released.

Together, they create something deeper than any single modality alone. Please allow 2 hours for this session.

  • Kundalini yoga is an active practice involving postures, breathing techniques, and chanting — you're consciously directing energy. Kundalini activation is surrender-based — you lie down and allow the energy to move through you, facilitated by the practitioner. No prior yoga experience is needed.

  • For most people, yes. However, I recommend checking in with a trusted medical professional first if you have a history of psychosis, epilepsy or severe psychiatric conditions. Not because the energy is unsafe, but because any practice that moves significant energy through the system deserves to be approached with care.

  • Not at all. Many of my clients come with no background in any of these practices. The work meets you exactly where you are. Complete beginners often have profound experiences.

  • Have a light meal at least two hours before your session. Avoid caffeine on the day of your session if possible, as it activates the sympathetic nervous system. Stay well hydrated.

  • There's no fixed prescription. Some people have a single profound experience that shifts something permanently. Others benefit from a series of sessions over time. We can discuss this during our time together.

  • I am a certified Somatic Bodywork Therapist, certified Kundalini Activation Facilitator, and Reiki Level 2 Practitioner.

My training combines bodywork methods with neuroscience, modern psychology, conscious breathwork, movement therapy, and kundalini energy work.
